Nice Ride is a fun and affordable way to get around the city, and a great alternative to the train, taxis, buses, and walking. It’s designed for quick trips with convenience in mind. Use it to commute to work or school, run errands, get to appointments, and more.
When you become a member, you can take as many rides as you want throughout the year, and the first 45 minutes of each Classic bike ride are included in your plan.

Extra fees
The first 45 minutes of each Classic bike ride are included in the annual membership. Any trips longer are just $0.18 per additional minute of ride time.
When you upgrade your ride to an ebike, it will be an extra $0.18/min.
When you upgrade your ride to a scooter, it will be an extra $0.25/min.
Ebike parking is free at Nice Ride stations, e-stations, and University of Minnesota bike racks. You’ll be charged $1 for parking an ebike at a public bike rack in the service area. Parking outside Minneapolis city limits incurs a $25 fee, and parking violations incur a $25 fee. Parking violations include locking the ebike to itself, private property, trees, signposts, or any other structures as well as blocking pathways, sidewalks, or ramps.
If you incur any usage fees, your card on file will be charged. The fee for a lost or stolen bike is $1,200.
